Civilization 6 Update Version 1.04 Full Patch Notes (PS4, Xbox One, PC, Switch) From what I understand from the modding DB in Civ 6, the AI plans attacks using 'operations teams' that have minimum and maximum unit limits (divided by unit types), and have specific purposes (walled city capture, regular city capture, city defense, some others). You can get complete Civilization 6 update 1.04 patch notes below. The new update for Civilization 6 implements a number of bug fixes and resolves some of the exploits that were discovered by the players.
